My dog had a life and death emergency. I was told to go to Bozeman because the vet "is getting out of here". If you care more for your personal life then the lives you trained to help, you might be in the wrong field. I could understand being at capacity, or unable to help. Unwilling because "you're getting out of here" is unacceptable to me.

My family and I were staying down in Paradise Valley and unfortunately we had to make the decision to put down our older dog. I called Livingston Veterinary Hospital in the morning and they were able to schedule an appointment that same day. All staff and the veterinarian were compassionate and empathetic through the whole process. I am forever grateful for everything they did during the difficult moment.

I cannot thank Wyatt enough for saving my dog. I called the front desk explaining the symptoms and that we were new to the area and Wyatt personally came and picked both my dog and myself up. From the moment we walked through the door, the staff was incredibly calm, professional, and compassionate. Wyatt took the time to explain everything clearly and treated Athena like one of his own. Seeing her back on her feet now after a life threatening emergency surgery means the world to me. If you’re looking for a team that truly cares, this is the place.

My vet (Colmeys) was booked so I took my dog who had a blockage here. He had blood work and x rays done. Dr. Greg Clausen was urging me to rush my dog into surgery (over in bozeman because they didn’t have time, thank god) quoting me between $4,000-$6,000 on top of the 600 I was charged, for the blood work and X-rays (way overpriced). He wasn’t explaining anything in a way that I understood and when I said I couldn’t afford a surgery he said my dog needed surgery or to be EUTHANIZED!!! I am still in shock that he would use that word. I got a second opinion, where I was explained things in a simple more professional manner and was told to hold off on surgery until at least the morning. They were also shocked that Dr Clausen used the word euthanize. My dog passed his blockage through a bowel movement the next morning all on his own, so I took him to Colmeys to make sure that was all. They kept him for the day to run multiple X-rays, and charged me HALF as much. The more I think about it the angrier I am that he used the word euthanize, it was beyond unprofessional and unnecessary. I wonder how many people he has mentioned unnecessary euthanasia to. My dog is 3 years old for god sake. I will never be spending another dime here.
