UPDATE to May 2026. New dog, same wonderful care and no waiting for weeks for appointment. Thank you. Montana ... Headwaters Vet Clinic will be my permanent go to Vet Clinic with good cause ..... very refreshing overall experience ... courteous, friendly, accomodating staff, happy atmosphere 😁, and great professional care. This is a 1-1/2 hour drive for me and now worth it. I live much closer to Helena, MT. I needed simple annual shots for two working ranch dogs. Headwaters scheduled me right in after striking out with Helena vets. The clinic I have used for many years, Apex Animal Clinic, said I would have to wait another five months to be "fit in" to their schedule. They lost me as one of their long time customers. The other Helena area vets I called were equally not accomodating. Perhaps they have too many taken for granted customers. Thank you to Headwaters.

If you are a bird hunter anywhere near Three Forks this needs to be your vet. They have treated my dogs through every stage from puppy to final and I've never had a complaint. They understand the extra things that bird dogs need, they have the ability to handle them (up to and including surgery), all at a reasonable price.

Headwaters has been taking care of my dog for years now and they are very compassionate and are very reasonable priced for the great service they do. I want to thank the vet who did the dental on my dog at the end of Feb. she was so very thoughtful of the dog and me. Sometimes we forget how much schooling these vets have to go through to know all the different anatomies and phisiologies of all the different animals, not like a physician who only knows one. Anyways want to thank the vet who did the dental surgery on my faithful dog. Bill Sulliva n
