First time visiting this hot spring and it felt so nice on sore muscles. Only thing I wish could be better is hotter water, but the tub has really hot water! Family friendly place, clean, affordable, well-maintained, safe.

Go somewhere else, there are cleaner hotsprings and cabins nearby with much friendlier staff. If you don't like to be in customer service, then sell the business so customers can enjoy their stay. The place was empty for a reason. We reserved a cabin for the weekend for a softball tournament nearby. We were gone early to late in the evening all weekend, and had communicated with staff (grouchy old man) regarding our schedule. We finished early Saturday night so I called and spoke with him and asked if they were staying open until 9 pm, he said yes, and I let him know we would be there 8:30-8:45 and he said ok. After changing into swimsuits, we arrived at the pool at 8:50. My husband ran in to make sure they were still open, a younger man at the front desk was going to let us jump in real quick, but the older man told us "absolutely not". We just wanted our 14-year to be able to experience the hotspring pool. We were literally only wanting to jump in and get out so we could go eat dinner. After our $400 cabin rental, we hoped they would at least let us experience the pool, especially because we were there within the scheduled time and I had called and spoke with them. I will not return and do not recommend this place to anyone. I would love to see a refund in my bank account for the terrible service and being lied to. Cute response. It seems you have a reason for anyone's poor experience. I am happy to see that you admit that you closed before the posted closing time. We can jump in and out in less than 5 minutes. Do better for your customers who are hoping to experience these hotsprings instead of making excuses. It wasn't cheap, which might be why you had no customers.

Everything you’d expect out of a hot spring in Montana. We were there by ourselves for an hour so we really got the experience 😊

We stayed at the Lost Trail Hot Springs in March. We arrived on a Thursday but the hot spring wasn’t open till Friday. The resort is quiet and was close to the Ski area. The spring is a large pool that was a little cooler than we expected and people are not allowed to have food or beverages in pool due to State regulations. Beverages were allowed on the pool deck but they had to be purchased from the resort. There was a hot tub as well that could fit maybe 8 people or so. The sauna was not operating when we stayed. Our cabin was very dated and the layout was different as there was just a small refrigerator and microwave, no coffee maker or other typical things in a normal hotel. The rooms were tired and dated. The resort has Wi-Fi but it was only accessible in the parking lot. Cell phone service did not work for us which makes it tough being on a vacation to do any trip planning. I would not recommend this stay for the price paid.
