Stayed at the lodge for 3 days and did a couple of days trips to Glacier Park. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our meals at the Great Northern dining room onsite. The food was very good for breakfast and dinner. The restaurant staff were friendly. Monica did a great job running her staff at the restaurant. We had a great time and hope to be back next year.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. We were there for four nights and absolutely loved it. The staff was excellent, the rooms and the lodge were clean. The only problem was that the soap, shampoo, and lotion dispensers were not filled. I'm glad we brought our own. Other than that, I can't wait to return someday.

Our lodge stay was overall good. Highlights were: 1) The staff at the Empire Lounge - they were accommodating and attentive 2) Lodge location. We enjoyed the East Glacier area as it was not as crowded as West Glacier. Our view off our balcony was so pretty!! 3) The front garden of flowers was beautiful 4) Live music in lobby in the evenings was a nice touch Some disappointing areas included: 1) The front desk staff - they never asked if they could help us when we approached them- I felt as if we were bothering them EVERY encounter. 2) Lack of storage in our room 3) The housekeeping staff- they didn’t clean our room one day- no explanation given 4) Lack of bell staff- may be difficult for older clients to carry luggage up stairs since there is no elevator 5) Limited food menu in Great Northern dining room- it never changed 6) Overall maintenance of grounds- trash under porches, trash left on porches for days, and back stairs were treacherous I would still recommend this lodge but hope management uses above criticism as constructive.
